Tax Increment Financing (TIF) is one of the most commonly used means for a city or county to redevelop a blighted area or to fund public projects such as city halls, parks, libraries, etc. But do you know the ins and outs of such subsidies and TIF Districts? Mathew Mendisco with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, will outline the fundamentals of TIF and lead this open forum on how it is utilized, when a community or taxing district should consider it, and how to catalyze investment through such financing.

Mathew Mendisco brings a variety of experience in both the public, as well as the private sector. His background includes planning, finance, real estate development, small business consulting, grant writing, general governance, and local government management. Mathew has earned his degrees in political science with a minor in economics and master’s in public policy with a focus on finance.
