Building an informed and aware board of directors for your URA and DDA creates a stronger network of urban renewal and downtown development advocates across the state. This is especially important as many of our URAs and DDAs are adapting to comply with recent legislation and to expand partner networks for urban renewal. DCI has received strong feedback that these sessions are helpful and necessary to broaden the understanding of urban renewal, tax increment financing, and the role of the board and staff in fostering quality redevelopment projects.
