This module explores how communities can effectively partner with the private sector to drive redevelopment projects. It covers how to craft agreements, set milestones, define deliverables, and ensure alignment with community goals—using examples applicable to both large and small-scale projects.

What steps should a community take to effectively work with the private sector on a project? Review how to craft agreements, milestones, deliverables, funding, and have it all align with community objectives. Examples work for big and small projects.
ACTIVITIES | The following activities are interactive tools that will walk participants through their own community, partners, and opportunities to build a stronger understanding ot the possibilities for moving the project forward.
- Checklist for Completing Program. A step-by-step checklist to ensure all necessary elements are in place for a successful public-private partnership.
- Draft Project Pitch - Pt. 2. Finish the second half of the Project Pitch Sheet including zoning map, 'Financing' and 'Infrastructure' and 'Environmental' sections along with the Entitlement Process.
- Feasibility Tetrad: Municipal Part 4: Legal Module. Assess legal considerations at the municipal level to ensure proper alignment in the partnership agreement.
