JIM HEID SPEAKER BIO

Jim is a built environment entrepreneur – focused on infill development, intentional place building and changing the way we think about real estate development.   Known for his aspirational but practical approach, he works with proven tools and best practices to better communicate the value of good design within the realities of local market norms.  With over forty years experience as an urban designer, land planner, sustainability strategist and now infill developer, Jim brings a broad range of perspectives and skills to the discussion about how communities grow.
