DOWNTOWN COLORADO, INC.

To maintain strong support for communities and URAs, DCI is consistently working hard to stay on top of URA and District needs and help the URA and District staff and boards as they work through formation, project development, project management, reporting and building capacity and partnerships.

This page has educational presentations, directories, and example documents, but our library is growing. If you don’t see something that answers your question or meets your need, reach out to us at [email protected]. We will connect you with a great resource from our statewide network!

UNDERSTANDING COLORADO’S DOWNTOWN DISTRICTS

DCI is your home for understanding the types of districts used in Colorado Downtowns and how they are selected, formed and managed. These items provide a general overview and explanation of what other communities have done.

URA + DDA + BID DIRECTORIES

DCI collects and updates information annually to share an accurate list of the different downtown districts in the state. Each year, we include a summary of our districts collected through the annual BID, DDA and URA survey process. We strive to add more information about budgets, staffing, the number of plan areas and more.

DDA + BID BOARD MEMBER MANUALS

DCI partners with our board members and legal gurus, Rick Kron and Spencer Fane, to bring you board manuals for training and to share them with your BID and DDA Board of Directors.

CASE STUDIES + REPORTS

DCI strives to help BIDs, DDAs, and URAs share their story and impacts. We are happy to help you connect with the case studies and reports completed by your peers, as well as reports highlighting trends and the importance of downtowns, town centers, and commercial districts.
